Embedded ComputingNew products at embedded world 2019
At the end of February, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made way for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the embedded world 2019 stands.

Five models extend the Genesys+ range from TDK-Lambda, a series of programmable power supplies with 5 kW output power, 1 U height and output values between 0 to 10 V at 500 A and 0 to 600 V at 8.5 A. The five models complete the output spectrum and ensure a seamless, even distribution. Housed in a 19-inch rack housing (483 mm wide), the devices deliver the 5 kW output power at 0 to 40 V/ 125 A, 0 to 60 V/ 85 A, 0 to 80 V/ 65 A, 0 to 100 V/ 50 A or 0 to 150 V/ 34 A, and can operate as a constant voltage source, constant current source or constant power source - adjustable as required. Three different input options are available: 170 to 265 V(AC), 342 to 460 V(AC) or 342 to 528 V(AC). Up to four power supply units can be operated in parallel in master/slave mode. The power supply units can be operated and programmed either via the operating elements on the front of the device or digitally via LAN (LXI 1.5), USB 2.0 or RS232/RS485 interface or via the isolated analog control and monitoring connections (0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V). Further interfaces are optionally available, including GPIB (IEEE 488.2), the 'Anybus CompactCom' platform for Devicenet, Ethercat, Modbus, Profibus and others.
