Scaling Communication between Controller I/Os
The 'I/O-Connection Manager' in the 'Lasal' automation software from Sigmatek enables flexible and scalable communication between the controller and connected I/Os.
As part of the 'hardware editor', it allows machine configurations to be varied without maintaining multiple software versions. I/O objects serve as an abstraction layer and are referenced symbolically in the network. All I/O states are centrally visible, can be grouped and can be used for diagnostics and commissioning.
With 'Project Connection Files', the physical wiring can be assigned dynamically at system startup depending on the configuration. Changes to connections, I/O assignments or initialization values are made via connection and parameterization files without recompiling the project. Variants can be simulated and activated individually.
Suitable for modular machine concepts in the fields of packaging, handling, conveyor technology and special machine construction.
