Mike Hughes is Zone President DACH

On February 1, Mike Hughes took over the position of Zone President DACH at Schneider Electric. He succeeds Stefan Gierse, who has left the company.

Hughes has worked internationally for Schneider Electric for over 20 years. The 59-year-old has held various key positions in Asia and Europe, including CEO for UK / Ireland, CEO for Taiwan, Senior Vice President EMEA Datacenter and Secure Power Business or Executive Vice President for Segments and Strategic Customers. Most recently, he was President responsible for the Nordics & Baltics zone.

Mike Hughes studied Electrical and Communications Engineering at DIT in Dublin and holds an MBA from Kingston University in London. He speaks English, German, Mandarin and French. He started his career in industrial energy management and automation in the Black Forest in Germany.
