25 years of GoogleSearch terms as a mirror of the recent past
Sometimes it's "schüler vz", sometimes "coronavirus": the trends among Google searches show very clearly which topics Germans have shown particular interest in over the years.

The year 2020 is again characterized by the pandemic: "corona", "coronavirus", "corona germany", "corona numbers", "corona news" and "corona bayern" are the top search terms in the trends of the year - ahead of "us election", which in November is about Donald Trump's ultimately unsuccessful stay in office.
