sWave.Net wireless network from Steute Schaltgeräte
© Steute Schaltgeräte

The Wireless division of Steute Schaltgeräte is presenting components and functions of the sWave.Net wireless network. These components include a wireless terminal with a two-line display and three freely assignable buttons, which the operator can use, for example, to order supplies or trigger ordering processes from the (assembly) workstation. Communication with the higher-level control system takes place via the sWave.Net wireless network. Access points, which work in a similar way to routers, send the radio signals directly to an IP address. Several hundred wireless switching devices of different types (such as position switches, foot switches, command devices or magnetic sensors) can be integrated into such a network. Data communication in an sWave.Net-based sensor network is bidirectional between the transmitter and access point. The same communication paths are preferably used as those created by synchronization.
