As a passive data collector, the Profinet Inspector NT from Indu-Sol analyzes the telegram traffic in Profinet and Ethernet networks and, as an extension of the technical staff, determines all relevant quality parameters such as jitter, telegram repetitions and device failures. It also resolves the network load to the millisecond. The device therefore fulfills the requirements for communication quality in Profinet formulated in the planning and commissioning guidelines of PI (Profibus and Profinet International). The data collector issues an immediate warning at the first anomalies, and faults can be viewed directly on the device via the display. Thanks to the integrated web server, more detailed diagnostic information can be displayed via an Internet browser.
