Distec will be showcasing the new IoT-enabled POS-Line IoT monitor, which is based on the newly developed Artista-IoT controller board that integrates the latest generation of the Raspberry Pi compute module (CM3). The Artista-IoT controller board offers comprehensive functionality with direct control, 100 Mbit Ethernet, real-time clock and special functions such as DICOM pre-set, gamma correction and color calibration. The available interfaces include USB, GPIOs, I²C and UART. According to the manufacturer, compatibility with the Raspberry Pi offers broad support from a large developer community for further development and integration. The company offers a starter set consisting of BaseBoard, CM3, 10.1-inch display with PCAP multi-touch and all necessary cables. The POS-Line-IoT series monitor or panel PC is therefore suitable for cost-efficient IoT applications in industry and digital signage.
