For Profinet, EthernetIP and Ethercat
Renesas has launched the 'R-IN32M3 Modules for Multi-Protocol Support', which offer multi-protocol support on board and support Profinet CC-B (including MRP), EthernetIP (including DLR) and Ethercat.
The ICC Engineering Tool from port supports the module or the user with the configuration on the application side. ICC (Industrial Communication Creator) is a convenient tool for configuration and object dictionary management. The tool can be used to configure individual functionalities in conjunction with the on-board protocols such as Profinet/EthernetIP and Ethercat stacks.
In addition to the settings for the 'Resource Management', the 'Device Description', the setting of the module and slot parameters, the 'Driver Settings' and the 'Parameters/Assemblies/Connections', the GSDML (Profinet), EDS (EthernetIP), ESI (Ethercat) files are generated. The tool is available for Linux and Windows.
