As the gateway interfaces and the connected sensors are mapped via MQTT, IoTmaxx says that high integration speed and secure data transmission via its own broker are possible. The gateways offer a robust and space-saving hardware solution, for example to transmit sensor data from machines or systems via various protocols - via LAN or the 4G LTE mobile network. Industries and applications can be found in energy distribution, in the field of e-mobility, especially in charging station management, as well as in system monitoring - for example of heating systems via remote maintenance with data from the cloud. When it comes to security, transmission via MQTT is advantageous as users do not have to use an external server and can retrieve interface data directly via their broker. The MQTT application is pre-installed on all gateways as standard. On customer request, the provider can also implement software extensions as required.
