Compact industrial switch with front access
Trendnet expands the product line of industrial Gigabit switches with the 5-Port Gigabit PoE++ Powered DIN-Rail Industrial Switch 'TI-B541' with PoE Pass-Through, which was developed for extreme conditions in industrial environments.
The industrial switch has four Gigabit PoE pass-through PoE+ ports with 10 Gbps switching capacity per port and a total PoE power of 65 W. It also has a Gigabit PoE++ input connection. It is supplied with power via a PoE++ switch or injector, which is why a power supply unit is not required. This allows the device to supply power to up to four devices such as IP cameras, VoIP handsets or wireless access points. Thanks to the PoE++ power supply, the Trendnet switch can also be installed in remote locations where there is no power source nearby.
With an IP30-rated, robust metal housing, the switch can also withstand strong vibrations and hard knocks, has ESD/EMI/surge protection and can also be operated in a temperature range of -40 to +75 °C in industrial environments. The switch is also capable of so-called 'jumbo frame' technology (up to 9 KB) for compressed, fast data transfer via packet transmission. For installation, the PoE network devices are simply connected to the PoE-powered industrial switch. The earthing point on the PoE-powered industrial switch protects the devices from external power surges. The LED indicators on the device show the port status.
