Belden buys Macmon Secure
Belden has acquired Macmon secure, the manufacturer of professional software for network access control.
The company's products complement Belden 's portfolio in the field of industrial networks. They will be integrated into the Hirschmann product portfolio.
With the acquisition of Macmon, Belden further expands its Customer Innovation Center (CIC) initiatives with additional network access control consulting capabilities and the ability to enhance solutions for customers' complex industrial networking needs. According to the company, the acquisition expands its portfolio to include NAC (Network Access Control) and SDP (Secure Defined Perimeter) software to protect networks and cloud resources.
