Identifying drivers and monitoring their attention on the road is the idea behind the Berlin start-up Asaphus Vision. Their software works via facial recognition using a camera and runs on the control units commonly used in cars. The application tracks the driver's face, determines the three-dimensional orientation of the head and identifies the driver.
