The development by Myrijam Stoetzer (14) and Paul Foltin (15) from Duisburg is aimed at people who are paralyzed from the upper cervical vertebrae upwards and have to sit in a wheelchair. To make them more mobile, Stoetzer and Foltin realized a wheelchair in their research work that can be controlled with the eyes.
