The results of the 'Relocation of production and production abroad' survey confirm Germany's good standing as a production location. In recent years, companies in both the metal & electrical industry (see 'M&E' in the chart, light gray line) and the manufacturing industry (see 'VG', dark gray line) have relocated less and less of their production abroad.
