Niklas Demel (18) equipped a toy vehicle for small children with an electric drive and controllable power steering. The computer driving the vehicle records images of the road via a webcam and uses them to simulate the course of the road. A software control algorithm calculates the control signals for the steering servo to keep the car on track.
