Siemens is presenting practical solutions with two showcases. Showcase one is a multi-carrier system developed jointly with Festo for packaging and filling machines from pilot customer Optima (see image).
The second showcase demonstrates how electrical power distribution can be integrated into digital industrial processes. Using a model of a control cabinet, visitors will experience how a "digital twin" combines virtual control cabinet engineering with real production automation.
