AMK aims to increase the performance of its servo inverters with a new KW-R2x controller card series. With the KW-R24 model, sensorless control of motors is also possible thanks to a stored, intelligent control model. Compared to V/f operation, sensorless operation offers the advantage that the load speed does not decrease with increasing load torque, but is maintained at the setpoint. The elimination of the encoder cable reduces cabling and connector costs. It also eliminates potential sources of error in the wiring and increases the robustness of the overall system. The KW-R25 controller card was developed for applications with high accuracy requirements, such as positioning and actuating drives. The encoder interface enables the connection/operation of sine, EnDat or Hiperface encoders. The user can thus decide from application to application whether he wants to operate his drives without sensors or with encoders. In addition to all the performance features of the KW-R25, the premium version KW-R26 also offers a Hiperface DSL interface for single-cable solutions/hybrid cable versions.
