The ADL 280 RFID data logger from A.S.T. is an RFID reader that can be used to wirelessly record and store up to 500 measured values from force sensors equipped with the manufacturer's RFID transponders. The measured values are recorded in the data logger and displayed simultaneously. Each transponder has a unique 48-bit identity number. This is used to automatically recognize the sensor and its parameters. This makes it possible to record different measuring points one after the other without having to make any presettings on the device. The values can later be read out and processed on a PC via a USB connection. The force sensors are passive, maintenance-free components. Power is supplied from the data logger during the measurement; a separate power source for the transponder force sensor system is not required.
