For the first time in Jumo's product range: the Pinos L01 flow sensor, which works according to the calorimetric measuring principle, in which the measurement is carried out using temperature sensors without moving parts. The sensor is intended for use in water and aqueous media and can be used, for example, to monitor cooling circuits, compressors, pumps and heat exchangers as well as for leakage monitoring, dry-running protection of pumps or in lubrication circuits. The flow sensor with a response time of 4 s is configured via a USB interface using a setup program. The measured value is output via an analog output (0(4) to 20 mA). The device can be used for a nominal pressure of up to 25 bar and in a permissible flow range of 10 to 150 cm/s. Designed in protection class IP 65/67, the flow sensor can be used at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The temperature of the measured medium can be between -25°C and +80°C. The market launch of the sensor is planned for the fourth quarter.
