With
u-remote, Weidmüller presents a modularly designed remote I/O system with pluggable connection level and high packing density. The integrated web server simplifies commissioning and speeds up maintenance work. The pluggable connection level enables the fast and safe connection of sensors and actuators with pre-assembled cables, while at the same time minimizing the error rate in the system wiring. Thanks to a module width of 11.5 mm and a small number of power supply modules, the system allows control cabinets to be designed smaller than before. Components can be replaced during operation without interrupting the bus connection and power supply. The system separates the supply for inputs and outputs using two heavy-duty 10 A current paths and also has an internal heavy-duty supply path that enables the operation of 64 modules with just one power supply on the coupler. The I/O system has freely selectable sensor connection options (2-, 3-, 4-wire technology) and can be operated in the temperature range from -20 to +60 °C.
