It is intended to be the cost-effective entry into the Intel architecture for the embedded market: The "MinnowBoard" single-board computer. At its heart is the Intel Atom E640 (32-bit), which is clocked at 1 GHz and comes with an integrated graphics unit (GMA 600, EMGD). The processor is based on the x86 architecture and supports both Intel's Hyperthreading and VT virtualization technology.
