Since the end of 2012, the Ludwigsfelde plant has made considerable progress in terms of efficiency throughout vehicle assembly. The main aim was to significantly improve the interface and cooperation between assembly and logistics. The experts from assembly, logistics and production planning initially examined the entire process from the supplier to the installation location of a part on the assembly line.
