A good third of companies are currently monitoring the topic of Industry 4.0 and analyzing the opportunities in relation to their own company. However, hardly any companies have already fully implemented the smart factory operationally. As many as 14 percent are pursuing individual operational projects and a further six percent are in the planning and testing phase. A third of companies have not yet addressed the issue in any concrete way.
