For 59% of the more than 250 companies surveyed, making production more energy-efficient is almost as important as increasing profitability. Improved production management (53%) and process optimization (51%) follow close behind in the priority ranking. Almost every second company favors more flexible production. Modern production systems, on the other hand, are only in eighth place on the company priority scale with 37%.
