The Care-O-bot 4: With its courteous, friendly and sympathetic manner, the mobile service robot behaves like a real gentleman. With its slim figure, the two arms attached to its sides and a kind of head, the robot is reminiscent of a human being. However, an overly human appearance was not desirable, as this would "raise false expectations in the user", says Ulrich Reiser, group manager at Fraunhofer IPA.
