Four students from the Technical University of Darmstadt have developed a brake assistant for baby carriages. Tobias Fritzsche, Simone Rudolph, Johannes Bilz and Yeji Park (from left to right) were awarded first place and prize money of 1,000 euros. The system developed detects when the baby carriage starts to roll unintentionally and then brakes it automatically.
