Dr. Sönke Kock, Product Manager for the new 'Automation Builder': "In future, we will be moving more and more towards Codesys for programming - including for the drives." ABB is making the new Automation Builder available to all existing Control Builder Plus customers as an update. However, Kock promises that the existing tools RobotStudio, MintWorkbench and PanelBuilder will continue to be available separately as independent tools.
