... Dr. Daniel Richart and Dr. Markus Kopf at this year's ICT start-up competition: on the one hand, the team of developers is one of the winners of the main prize, and on the other, they were presented with the special prize 'Mobile Internet of Things' worth 6,000 euros. Richart and Kopf dealt with the fact that frequent measurements on sensors in industrial plants generate large amounts of data that companies find difficult to collect and analyze in real time. The 'Teraki' software system provides a remedy: using special mathematical methods, the data is recorded in greatly reduced form and sent to a cloud server. There, the data is reconstructed and can be analyzed as required. The reduced data volume speeds up data transmission. In addition, the sensors on site are relieved of the burden of data storage and processing.
