... Pixolus, a start-up whose image recognition software enables automatic data capture and processing using a smartphone camera. Depending on the application, the camera can automatically recognize meter readings, price tags, forms, receipts or bank transfer slips. The data is used in digitized form and users are spared the tedious task of typing it out by hand. Pixolus is primarily aimed at companies that do not have their own image recognition expertise but would like to add such data capture functions to their existing software.
