With the EC1000, Berghof Automationstechnik has succeeded in accommodating an Ethernet controller in the housing of an I/O terminal - with complete PLC functionality and many connection options. The I/O range can be connected directly via Ethercat and even a standard Ethernet connection is already available in the terminal, which is only 25 mm wide. The connection via CAN and RS 232 can also be set up quickly. Simple visualizations can be created with the built-in Codesys environment - either Codesys 2.3 or 3.4. Convenient data storage functions via USB and SD card round off the performance spectrum of the control terminal.
