In order to meet the requirements of a constantly flexible Industry 4.0, today's rigid corporate structures must be radically restructured, especially in terms of communication and willingness to change. This starts with managers, many of whom still prefer to withdraw into their comfort zones instead of being directly at the point of value creation, as some companies have long since successfully exemplified with store floor management concepts. There is also a lack of training in situation and process analysis.
