The Festo Logistics Competition, which is taking place for the second time, focuses on industrial proximity: a team of three robots must autonomously manage the logistics within a virtually unknown production system. The robots have to identify the production environment, enable a material flow and transport the right goods to the right place at the right time. The basis is the Robotino robot platform, whose sensors and programming can be defined by the participants.
