The devices with the designation Sendix 5814 and 5834 incremental provide sine/cosine differential signals with U = 1 VSS. Through interpolation, the subdivision of the sinusoidal curve on the control side results in a very high resolution, which - depending on the electronics used for evaluation - can be interpolated up to 16 bits. A sinusoidal encoder with 1024 signal periods per revolution (11 bits) thus delivers the high accuracy of around 270 million measuring steps per revolution.
