The ProNumeric OP mobile machine operating system from Schleicher Electronic is now available with a two-channel enabling switch. This makes it possible to operate machines with an increased risk of injury during operation. The enabling switch can be used to cancel the safety stop when entering the danger zone. The machine then runs at a safe slow speed, enabling operation in the motion sequence. The three-stage push-button design provides additional safety: if the push-button is pressed lightly, the machine can be moved. In an emergency, pressing the button harder or simply releasing it is enough to immediately activate the machine stop and secure the employee. The hand-held control unit is equipped with a touch display. This visualizes the individual user interface, which is transmitted from the control system to the device via a web browser. A handwheel with a step-by-step increment of 100 increments per revolution enables manual operation.
