Founded in 1954, the German company Kabelschlepp (turnover in 2009: 46.4 million euros) has a Japanese owner - the listed Tsubaki Group based in Osaka (turnover: 1.14 billion euros). The two companies have a long-standing business relationship: Kabelschlepp has been a sales partner of Tsubaki outside Japan for 40 years and vice versa.
