There are now also two new connection technology series for the food industry. The Hygienic series for particularly sensitive areas - including those with direct contact to food - is designed without small gaps, so that no impurities can accumulate. This is also ensured by the smooth surfaces of the housing materials and the union nuts for fixing plug connections made of V2A steel. For less sensitive areas, Turck offers a variant of its standard connection technology with cables made of FDA and Ecolab-certified materials. The cable qualities and materials thus correspond to those of the Hygienic series, but the connectors have a classic design.
