Turck - IP67 controller 'TBEN-L-PLC':
With the TBEN-L-PLC,Turck has presented what it claims to be the world's first IP67 controller for industrial use that has a Codesys PLC on board and also enables a direct cloud connection as well as being able to communicate simultaneously via different Ethernet protocols thanks to multiprotocol technology. In dual MAC mode, the robust block module offers two IP addresses and can therefore either establish a connection to the automation network via one port and a securely separated Internet connection to the cloud via the second port or communicate in two Ethernet networks, for example as a Profinet device and as a Profinet, Ethernet/IP or Modbus TCP master.
With the option of direct connection to Turck's 'Cloud Solutions' directly on the machine, the IP67 controller not only eliminates the need for additional edge gateways, but also significantly simplifies project planning for the user. Decentralized and networked automation concepts can thus be implemented with little installation effort and cost. Programming such a solution also saves a lot of resources.
Easy access to machine data in the cloud from any PC or mobile device worldwide facilitates fault diagnosis and maintenance as well as condition monitoring for preventive maintenance.
