Big data - hurdle or opportunity in production: 55% of all respondents see the constantly increasing flood of information as a "very big IT challenge". According to the study, large amounts of data are primarily generated in the areas of warehouse and transport logistics, production-related test data and quality indicators, service and support as well as personnel scheduling.
