As in January 2013, the current April survey does not show a good or very good supply of skilled workers in the sectors surveyed. In particular, those sectors in which economic development is expected to be rather negative in the coming months continue to have significant problems recruiting skilled workers. The VDI recorded positive results for wind energy technology, which is rated as having high innovation potential, where the supply of skilled workers has increased significantly since January (from 2.9 to 3.2). This is in line with the good international competitiveness attributed to this sector(see Figure 3)
