... nominates eight works from all applications and proposals. At the invitation of the foundation, the nominees travel to the jury meeting to present their work in person and receive a certificate and sculpture to mark their nomination. The picture shows the jurors and nominees at the jury meeting in Ditzingen in May 2012. The jury currently consists of ten jurors from science and practice - including Prof. Hans-Jürgen Warnecke (Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation), Prof. Theodor Hänsch (Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich) and Prof. Hubertus Christ (former member of the ZF Friedrichshafen Board of Management and former VDI President).
