The 'iTAC.SMT.Edge' from iTAC Software enables the standardization and centralization of machine data, especially in SMT production. The data is merged on the store floor using a machine integration platform based on an edge solution and distributed to higher-level systems such as MES, ERP, etc. via a direct interface. There is an extensive library with specialized software interfaces for each device type from different manufacturers, which can be connected with configurable adapters.
The solution enables the acquisition of manufacturer- and platform-independent machine data in any format, via a standard protocol or proprietary. Thanks to different interface types, operators can select which machine with which interfaces is involved. After input, the system recognizes the communication type and delivers the corresponding data.
