At 60 kilometers per hour, a special vehicle transported the giant over a distance of 575 kilometers from the rotor blade production facility in Aalborg to Nakskov on the Danish island of Lolland. The route is actually only 330 kilometers; due to the length of the rotor blade, the route had to be recalculated to avoid bridges and tunnels. The rotor blades were painted in Nakskov. The paint booth at the Siemens production facility in Aalborg is currently still limited to rotor blades with a length of up to 58 meters.
