Do you believe that cloud computing will prevail in industrial automation?
Almost two thirds of respondents believe that the cloud will be successful in industrial automation. Only around 8 percent are of the opinion that the cloud will not prevail under any circumstances, with those at the start of their careers being the most optimistic. When broken down by area of application, around 70% of those working in development and production believe that the cloud will come. Project managers have a more pessimistic view of things.
