With the SP-DIO84 module, Wieland Electric has added standard inputs and outputs to the 'Samos Pro Compact' safety controller. Normal, non-safety-related automation tasks can thus be implemented in a cost-optimized manner. The SP-DIO modules each have four inputs and outputs as well as four configurable inputs and outputs. Each of the maximum eight outputs is capable of switching a current of up to 0.5 A.
