Beijer Electronics presents the iX HMI technology with the product name iX SoftControl. It is linked to the Codesys soft PLC industry standard. The result is a machine controller with visualization in a compact design. The portfolio comprises a total of six device variants in two performance classes with screen diagonals from 4.5 to 15 inches. The iX TxA SoftControl series is equipped with a 400 MHz Arm9 CPU and is used for small to medium-sized control tasks. With the Ethercat, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols, the most important coupling types are available for a large number of I/O modules. As before, the user creates the HMI projects with the iX-Developer. The control functionality is developed using the Codesys PLC programming environment.
