When it comes to the question of how their own company will develop over the next three months, confidence in their own company still seems to be particularly high in sectors that are considered to be weaker - as was the case in January, especially in the nuclear technology sector. Bioenergy technology, on the other hand, is viewed comparatively negatively. However, the VDI notes that this finding should not be overestimated, as comparatively few participants from the bioenergy technology sector took part in the survey(see Figure 1).
