Construction is initially scheduled to begin on the site west of Günther-Scharowsky-Straße. Part of the demolition work on the site will begin there this year, with construction work starting in fall 2016 with the ground-breaking ceremony. The Group's real estate division - Siemens Real Estate - is managing the construction project. Siemens expects the first new buildings to be completed in 2018 and the entire project should be completed by 2030. The total investment volume amounts to around 500 million euros.
