The Agumos Q40 from Melkus Mechatronic is a driverless floor conveyor system that was developed for the automated transportation of small parts that are often transported in stackable 60 x 40 cm boxes. With a footprint of 40 x 40 x 40 cm, the system can also be used in narrow production aisles and warehouse aisles. The ability to flexibly adjust the height and direction of rotation of the load carrier should ensure a high level of ergonomics and facilitate adaptation to existing facilities. A 360-degree rotation function of the load carrier was developed to keep the load in a defined alignment, even if the transporter changes its direction of travel. An integrated laser scanner ensures a safe stop in front of people and unexpected obstacles. According to the manufacturer, the free-moving industrial truck with a payload of 60 kg is quickly ready for use thanks to variable, optical track guidance and can be easily integrated into existing systems.
