4K readiness shows the broadband requirements for the use of 4K streams (Ultra HDTV, Ultra High Definition Television). These generally require a bandwidth of 10 to 20 Mbit/s. The 4K readiness metric therefore measures the percentage of broadband connections with 15 Mbit/s or more.
