DS Automotion launches Amadeus and Oscar omni, two freely navigating automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Designed from the outset for driverless operation, the forklift truck and the floor-mobile underride AGV were developed and produced in-house. The 'Amadeus' high-lift AGV masters contour-based navigation as well as laser navigation. Optionally, it can also use magnetic points or reflectors for greater positioning accuracy. The vehicle is compatible with all of the provider's freely navigating systems and can therefore be integrated into existing systems without any additional effort. The sensors for personal safety work without a blind spot with unobstructed all-round visibility and are seamlessly integrated into the rounded outer contour. The AGV has a 10-inch touch display for interaction with people. It can also be equipped with voice output. The mobile 'Oscar omni' is 235 mm flat and independent of the load carrier. It navigates contour-based without specially installed landmarks using KBL technology and is also capable of magnetic point navigation. Its surface mobility allows turning while stationary as well as diagonal travel and reduces the space required for cornering and load changes.
